Sunday, January 1st 2006: RCbikes.com says goodbye to 2005 and hello to 2006. I have a feeling this year is going to be another great year for the r/c bike community. We have the UK race in june (more info soon), the TT nitro bike was just released and is extremely popular. Tons of parts are starting arrive on the market and more people are getting hooked on our little hobby. Tuesday, January 10th 2006: My computer is having hard drive problem so unfortunately it is going to be sent in for repairs. I will not be able to update the site until it returns. However, I will have e-mail access so please feel free to e-mail me. Monday, January 16th 2006: My computer arrived today and it seems the motherboard died and not the drive. I’m back up and running now.. I’ll be re-installing everything and should be running at 100% in a day or two. I’m very interested in anything you would like to see on the site so please send me your feedback & pics. Updated: Comments section & some minor site errors. Monday, January 22nd 2006: Updated the Customize it section. Added instructions for installing the new usd forks from CNR. Updated the comments section. It will take some time, but I'm planning on adding detailed information reguarding parts installations normal R/C motorcycle maintance. Friday, February 3rd 2006: I'm sorry for the slow website updates, but I've been very busy with other things. But, I have not forgotten about you all and the content will continue to grow. Please e-mail me if you have any questions or comments. Updated: Modz Section Update: PMT Tires Tuesday, February 14th 2006: Added Maintenance section to the website. This is currently under construction, but I'm working on it. Updated a few area's with minor updates, plus the new Video, TTE "THE MOVIE" will be online soon. Updated: Maint. Section added Thursday, February 23nd 2006: BIG NEWS! Yes, we are now back online; you might have noticed that we we’re offline for several days due to bandwidth constraints. RCgroups did a good job supporting us during the early days, however the r/c motorcycle community growth rate in general has increased the websites usage and expansion was inevitable. So we now have a new home and hopefully in a few days the move will be complete. We have more bandwidth and more storage space, which means we have room to grow. Update: Updating the website for new Host! Friday, March 24th 2006: Summer is here, Yeppie! Summer is just around the corner or is basically here. Everyone will start to warm up from the winter, get the bikes out, pop in those double AA’s and fill the tanks or charge batteries. I think it is going to be a great summer. I have some idea’s for the site; but just need the time to implement them, so until that time I will do my best to keep content current. Please submit any pictures of your r/c bikes, tips, tricks, Modifications or anything you feel will benefit others. I myself need to work on my bikes, due to one engine failure and crushed gas tank. Comments are more then welcome and submit any site errors that you encounter. Sunday, April 9th 2006: Minor update today... Well, I was able to get one of my bikes running today; for a few minutes anyway. But, my front brake cable was damaged when it was #)@(#$) inadvertently pulled between the tire and fork tube. I’ve added a tip, which will hopefully prevent someone from doing the same thing. A simple and hopefully worthwhile tip.. Also, have been getting allot of e-mail re-guarding the TTe & TTn bikes and this is good. I love to get e-mail and see how many people are interested r/c bikes. If you do have questions, please be more specific about the problem and don’t simply ask, “what must I change to make the bike run better”. It takes time to dial your rides in, so patience is a virtue. Tips will be added accordingly, which should answer many common problems. Update: Do's & Do Nots Monday, April 24th 2006: The SF506 Nitro is now available!... I have some good news! With the help of GotNitroOnline I was able to order the new SF506 nitro bike. The bike comes with a Picco Omega engine and is pricy, but for the hardcore R/C bike junkie it’s a must have. It might take awhile for the bike to arrive here in the states, however its on the way! When the bike arrives I will be sure to post a full description along with pictures so everyone can drool. I might even have time to make a short video clip of the bike in action. Thursday, May 11th 2006: Minor update today...Added 2WheelHobbies to our Links It is very rare when we get to add a new link to our site due to the lack of r/c motorcycle related websites, but we now have a new distributor. We would like to welcome 2wheelhobbies.com to the club and our link page. They offer bikes, Hop-ups and even carry some parts from CNR. How cool is that! Http://www.2wheelhobbies.com Wednesday, June 7th 2006: Site Update: Picco Omega Engine & 3rd Annual R/C Championships I know it has been awhile since I’ve updated the site, but I’m slowly getting my grove back. I recently purchased a picco Omega engine and found some problems, which I felt needed to be addressed. I have posted a few pictures and a short description re-guarding the problems I encountered. Also, September 3rd is the 3rd Annual R/C motorcycle championships In Burbank California. Additional information reguarding the race, rules hotel information etc will be posted soon. If you wish to find out more about the race then logon to rcgroups.com and locate the rcmotorcycle forum. I will do my best to post all the information reguarding the event. You do not want to miss this… Sun Valley Raceway Monday, June 12th 2006: Minor update today...Added Integy Revo Shock Upgrade Well, just a minor update today and the topic! Integy Revo shock upgrade/installation. The revo shock is designed for a monster truck but wouldn’t you know it, the shock will fit on the SF501 nitro bike with a few modifications so check out the customize it section if your interested in this mod. Tuesday, June 27th 2006: The International R/C Motorcycle Championships was held in Brookland, Uk this weekend. There where a total of 81 participants from all over the world attending this event, not to mention the united states. If you would like to see some picture and stats from the race they can be found here. UK R/C Motorcycle Championships Stats & Pictures For those of you who made this event I hope that you had a great time. I was unable to make this event and I’m extremely upset that I did. However, the 3rd National R/C Motorcycle race is just around the corner, minus a few months but make sure you plan on attending now. Website content changes, Shortened Socal R/C News Page, Corrected a few Errors. On a personal note I’m still waiting on the arrival of the new SF506 Nitro bike. Unfortunately, it is currently stuck in customs and should be here anytime. I’ll be sure to post pictures and a description of the bike as soon as possible. Also, If you have any custom bike parts that you would like reviewed for the site, please drop me an e-mail. You can submit a part for review and it will be purchased or returned if requested.

Added: Picco Engine Break-in, SF506 Nitro (Currently; Under Construction) I’m in the process of adding the new SF506 bike page. It will take a little time before the page is accessible, but I’m working on it. Also, I just updated the Picco engine section with a picture and little information re-guarding how to break the engine in. If you find any site errors please bring them to my attention so they can be corrected. Tuesday, August 15th 2006: 3rd Annual R/C Motorcycle Championship - Update Just a quick reminder about the 3rd Annual r/c motorcycle championship in Burbank, California on September 3rd 2006. Monday, September 4th 2006:Added: Video Review for the 3rd Annual R/C Motorcycle Championships I've added a 3 minute video with highlights from the 3rd Annual R/C Motorcycle Championship. I have more info to post about the race, but I've been working on the video all day and to be honest.. I'm tired.. More info later.. enjoy the vid Tuesday, September 12th 2006: Updates back on Track... Well, the 3rd annual r/c motorcycle championship was a real blast and I ended up coming home with a 3rd place nitro award. It was very hot, but I had a great time and looking forward to next year. For those of you who missed this years event; You missed out! They raffled some really great prizes and the racing action was like always fantastic!

There is a video review already posted on the site so be sure to check it out. I have also updated the tips section re-guarding the 506 nitro bike and a general servo problem that I encountered at The races. Now that everything is starting to mellow out I should have site updates posted on a more regular basis. I was spending allot of time getting ready for the event and the website suffered. Please contact me if you would like to see anything posted on the site. Monday, September 25th 2006: Added a few things today Just a few minor updates today, tornado forks, wheels & how to balance your wheels. I do have a several updates that I will be adding over the next week or so as time permits. Sort links have been added to several of the pages to decrease search time. It seems like the pages are starting to really grow so other search options will probably been necessary in the near future. Please continue to check the website on a regular basis and I hope to hear from you all.

Wednesday, October 4th 2006: Added Facts about Fail Safe Units I managed to make a few updates today and added a short tid-bit reguarding fail safe units. Updated section on Forks, plus I was able to update the link section. Please contact me if you would like to see something added to the site. Saturday, October 21st 2006:Just a comment... I know it has been awhile since the website has been updated, but because I'm the only one doing the work it can be difficult to accomplish everything all at once. Also, many e-mails have been coming my way reguarding the bikes and this is a good thing, however. I ask that you please use the forum on the site for questions. If we can get the forum more active then it will benefit others and not just the person that I’ve replied too. Saturday, October 21st 2006: Added: Battery Watch Units, Updated website news text file Saturday, October 27st 2006: Painted a Body & Halloweens almost here! Well, I just finished painting a new body and decided to share it with everyone. This is not a work of art, but it does look cool so I’ve added it to the photo page. My 501 and 506 now have the new digital servo’s installed and they are bloody fast. If your looking for a new servo and have the money I suggest the new Comp Digital 94755Z. I’m doing some some updates today and will continue this week. Halloween’s on Tuesday and as many of you know.. I love Halloween!!! BOO Thursday, November 9th 2006: Website upgrades today: Added & Removed Web Links I’m currently making some minor modifications to the website and updating the link section, any websites that currently do not respond will be removed. Also, added section re-guarding servos. If you would like anything added to the website please e-mail me and let me know. Saturday, November 25th 2006: Added new Video "A Tale of Two Motorcycles". This short video was filmed at our local Sea World Parking lot Includes both of our bikes; SF501 & SF506 nitro's burning lots of fuel and having fun. Jeff Smiley’s SF501 and yours truly with my 506. If you would like anything added to the website please e-mail me and let me know. Wednesday, December 27th 2006: Added information on the Spektrum DSM Pro Upgrade --------------------------A NEW YEAR -=2007=- --------------------------------- Saturday, January 6th 2007: Welcome to 2007... What's up for this year? The holidays are now over so hopefully thing will start to settle down and allow me to update the website and burn some gas. I have made a few site changes today, basically making two picture pages. We now have customized rides and customized paint jobs. I’ve been getting some submissions and that’s fantastic. If you would like your bike added to the website please provide info about your bike. I would like to know what modifications you have made and pictures of those modifications, plus any additional information to describe your ride. If you just e-mail me tons of pictures and don’t provide information pertaining to the pictures I will not post them. People would like to know what modifications have been done. The R/C bike community continues to grow and I feel this year is going to be even better then last year. We have new bikes coming out, new hop-ups and more coverage in the r/c magazines. I’m also considering adding a video diary with yours truly. The diary would be mainly bike modifications and general bike maintenance via my shop. The video would be updated on a regular basis, but would probably not be top edited work. When I do engine overhauls or brake adjustments it would be filmed and uploaded to a page to be added. What do you think? I would love some feedback on this topic? Saturday, January 9th 2007: Added GRP Gandini Tires Posted a little information about the new GRP Gandini Racing Tires. Tire compounds are getting better all the time, which means faster lap times. Sunday, January 21st 2007: Should we add a chat room? I’ve been dwelling over the idea of adding a chat room to the website, but I have not decided yet. The forum is really lacking In users and this is why I’m holding off on the chat room. Also, I’m assuming because of winter most people are trapped inside and under tons of snow, including freezing temperatures. Please give me feedback about the chat room and try to post in the forum if you have questions. The chat room would be a banner free, custom chat room and not some web chat banner popping annoyance. When the temperatures start to rise I have a feeling the website will start to pickup. You can read all about our previous site news & updates in the file located below. This is a text document consisting of all updates and site modifications for 2006. Thursday, February 8th 2007: Updates will be coming. I'm sorry about the lack of updates for the last few weeks but I recently upgraded to Microsofts new operating system vista. The new O.S is slowing me down in terms of locating software which is currently supported. I was able to get an FTP program working, so this is why I'm able to post this message but, until I get everything completely functional, updates may be slow over the next week. I just wanted to let you know that the website will still be updated and yes, I am still alive. Friday, February 9th 2007:The Video Leeching must stop. Over the last month my video bandwidth has quad-tripled so I feel their are some sites leeching off my video files. This bandwidth has exceeded my monthly limits in extreme excess. All video files are going to be changed to stop most of the leeching and still allow regular visitors to access the the files. If this continues I will have no choice but to remove the video files, which is something I don't want to have happen. A normal monthly limit is 60+ gigs, but this month was over 200 gigs. We will try changing video files as a first step, then if this does not stop the leeching all users will be required to e-mail me for a link to view the video's. I'm also going to band IP's percent or more bandwidth. Monday, March 26th 2007: Spring is here; Start your Engines! Over the last few days I’ve been thinking about what types of options should be added to rcbikes. Should the website be more flashy? I’ve considered allot of options, but it comes down to slow loading or flashy. You all want content and flash will just hinder this in my opinion. So I’ve decided to continue to add content and keep the website built for speed. The website could generate allot more traffic if I allowed banner ads, but I personally hate banner ads! No banners means lower visitor levels, so please tell all your friends about rcbikes. The more support we have the faster our hobby will grow. R/C bike news 1. There is a top secret project in the works and because it is top secret, I cannot tell you! 2. Met a new r/c bike guy yesterday and we practiced for a few hours and had allot of fun. Ended up busting my gas tank and roto-start, so a few replacements are required now. 3. *NEW* RD Logics releases new tuned exhaust for Nitro Ducati *NEW* exhaust can be purchased at http://www.2wheelhobbies.com 2 Wheel Hobbies Website updates & general news Well, it has been about a month since I have updated the website and figured it was time to make changes. I added a tip section on how to glue your tires because even though this area has been covered I continue to receive e-mails from people asking how to do this? I’m currently in the process of re-building my bikes and preparing them for the Championship in August. The race will be held; August 2nd through the 5th in Battle Ground, Washington. I will be posting more information about this event soon, including hotel and dining spots! We have been out practicing allot recently and unfortunately someone snagged my tornado forks at the local parking lot this past weekend. If you happen to find anyone on e-bay trying to sell some tornado forks and it has a small nick directly above the steering arm then please contact me asap. Friday, June 1st 2007: Socal R/C Desktop Backgrounds If anyone would like to have Socal R/C Motorcycle Club Logo on your computer, I have added a few desktop backgrounds that you can download. If the image size is not correct; then let me know and I would be glad to upload the image size you require. Saturday, August 4th 2007: Just a note re-guarding a posted comment… I noticed a message posted on the comment section about lack of updates on the website and I would like to mention a few things about this. First, I would love to update the website on a daily basis, but this is not possible and it wouldn’t be logical due to lack of information that I could post. If you would like some information posted on the website please let me know what you would like to see? I have tried to post information, which I feel would benefit everyone. Also, I often do post updates and update the website, but don’t mention the fixes or upgrades on the news page. I love to get e-mail, but I seem to get e-mail re-guarding topics which are already covered and posted on the website and this makes me feel like like no one is actually reading them? Saturday, October 20th 2007: Updates and Stuff I know it has been awhile since any updates, but I’m working on the website this weekend and adding some updates. We were out running the bikes today at our local parking lot and we had a good time. Everyone is welcome to come watch or join in on the fun. Feel free to drop me an e-mail if you would like to join the meet. For those of you who don't know.. I do paint bike bodies on the side and you can see some of my work on the website. You will need to have the body shipped to me and allow time for the work to be completed. Cost, $ 40 to $100 bucks depending on detail, but I often do bodies for free when I have the time. There are a few new bikes currently in design and some to be released soon. If you would Like your bike added to the website then please contact me. Now, I would love to review the bikes myself, but unfortunately we cannot purchase all the bikes currently on the market. Donations are always welcome and having your bike reviewed will increase sales! If the bike handles that is, considering I don’t give good reviews for bikes that are not good. Also, we are working on a new video to be added shortly so be sure to check back on a regular basis. I do not have a release time right now, but the video is currently being worked on. Wednesday, November 21st 2007: New Link Added Alleven R/C has been added to our web links section . If you are looking for some really excellent custom upgrades for TT, NF and most 1/5 scale bikes then please give them a visit. I’m going to order a set of forks very soon and will post some pic’s when I have them installed. Thursday, December 13th 2007: Updates & Winter arrives Well, I’m working on the website today and adding a few tips along with some site modifications. I decided to add a Tech Tips section .2, which will keep the page lengths down a bit. Even with the high bandwidth networks who wants a super long scrolling page. I just wanted to let you know that I’m working on the site, so please visit on a regular basis and drop me a line or e-mail. The weather has been chilly due to winter, which means allot of us cannot run our bikes until the nice weather arrives. This is a great time to work on your bike and make those custom modifications you have been avoiding during the summer racing season. Even in Southern California the weather is still on the cool side and this limits outdoor activities. However, I would love to get the group together after the Christmas holiday, so contact me if you are interested? ---------------------2008---------------------------- Monday, January 7th 2008: Hello 2008! What's coming this year? Welcome to 2008… This should be a great R/C bike year with all the new bikes and upgrades that are going to be released. We will do bike reviews, accessorie reviews and keep those technical tips coming your way. I’m currently doing some upgrades on the website and adding additional information so keep coming back. If you would like to see something added then please drop me a line and let me know what you would like to see on the site. Tuesday, January 8th 2008: Added: Alleven-RC Fork Review Alleven releases new forks, what's the skinny? Added a short review for Alleven-RC forks. More road testing is required for the forks, but I have added some general information and pictures. The fork review can be found

on techinical Section .II Wednesday, January 16th 2008: Custom Painted Body for sale A custom painted body by yours truly is now for sale on Gotnitroonline.com This is a one of a kind custom body that is already pre-painted and pre-cut and ready to mount. This is a very fantastic paint job and took me a week to complete. Dave, asked me to paint a custom body for the site so I did The body will not last long so check it out ASAP. http://www.gotnitroonline.com Wednesday, January 23rd 2008: Alleven fork updated Road testing review of the Alleven forks Wednesday, January 30th 2008: Changes are coming.. The forum has been updated and changed so the links on the website also needed to be modified. Added information about formby tire warmers along with a few images, plus a few minor modifications. I often add changes to the website, but don’t list the changes so just because the news has not been updated doesn’t mean the site has not. If you would like to see your bike featured in the customized section then please submit images along with any additional info you would like shown along with the bike. All images will be re-sized for the site, so don’t worry about image properties. All images will be removed if asked by the owner only. We do not hold any copyrights on any image submissions Friday, February 22nd 2008: Just a few website touch-ups Just a few minor updates on Da' website today. I'm still working on the video and would like to get it online soon. Just having a few problems past week that are not website related, slowing me down. I will do my best to get it finished sometime soon. Something else I wanted to mention. I have recently spoken with a few online retailers that sell RC bikes and bike parts and according to a few of them sales are starting to pickup. Now, I mentioned a problem with Nuova Faor and part shipments, but Nuova faor has assured me they will not ditch the US market and leave us part-less. I’m happy sales are on the rise as this can only be a good thing. The Europeans have us beat ten fold when it comes to r/c motorcycles, they have completely dedicated tracks and actual r/c motorcycle shops. We are big with bikes, but on the 1:1 scale and we need to let people know 1/5 scales exist. Sunday, March 9th 2008: Adding a Racing Tip Section I’m in the process of building up a racing tip section. When you are going to race there are always modification that can be done to your bike, which will increase lap times. It will take time to build the page, but over time I feel the tips on this page will greatly help you on the track. Thursday, March 27th 2008: Working on Site I have added another section to the racing tips page and I’m working on some other parts of the website. Updates are coming and I work on the website when I have time, unfortunately this is not as often as I would like. Been running the bikes allot though and learning new tips almost daily. Been getting allot of e-mail about the bikes and this is fantastic! The more e-mail you send the more I want to keep the website updated. Also, we need more exposure in r/c magazines so the more you e-mail R/C Car Action Magazine, Extreme R/C and so on the more they will post about our hobby. Send them any pictures of your rides and ask them to post the pictures in future issues. I contantly send them items and hope they post them, but if you don’t send anything how will they know about the r/c motorcycle scene? Saturday, May 3rd 2008: Greetings Ya'll I understand it has been about a month since the website has been updated And I’m very sorry for the lack-of-updates. Other obligations has made it difficult to make changes to the site. I’m going to run the bikes this weekend and get some practice in for the up coming season as I hope you all do the same. The bikes are running good and have been overhaul, cleaned and ready to run. I did order a full shipment of tires that arrived A few weeks ago, so I’m ready for the season. MotoGP always gets me in the mood for racing. I have been trying to contact Nuova Faor about the bikes and parts problem and they are basically ticking me off. We have been doing everything to promote the bikes and they keep telling me the same thing, so I recently sent them a nasty letter explaining the problem and telling them too get off their ass and ship parts and bikes. You can say, it did get their attention since the reply was not nice, however my goal of the e-mail was to be direct and let them know how I feel. If they wish to do business with the states they need to stop making excesses and just do it. The last few e-mails from them are always stating the same thing and its just getting old, so please forgive me if I seem upset at NF, I am! Please e-mail them and let them know how you feel. If we do not express our Frustration, then nothing will change. NF e-mail: info@nuovafoar.it Sunday, May 4th 2008: Venom Enters The R/C Motorcycle Market Yes, our friends over at Venom have designed and will soon release their new 1/8 RTR GPV-1 bike. At this time I don’t have the specifics about the bike, but I have e-mailed them asking for more information and permission to post images etc. If you wish to view the bike and read more about it, then please visit: http://www.venom-group.com Venom - GPV-1 1:8 Scale R/C Motorcycle Maybe I can obtain one to review? Hint, Hint.. Venom… Monday, June 16th 2008: Greetings and salutations Went to run the bikes this weekend and ended up smoking my receiver? how it managed to die is beyond me, but all bike function was instantly lost and I heard a POP from the receiver. Going to contact spectrum this week and see about having it fixed and or replaced. The buzz on the street is the new venom bike is going to be killer. Very reasonable price range for someone interested about getting into the hobby. I would like venom to send me some additional information about the bike but I’m still waiting on that? Hey, Venom… where is my press pack? Better yet, where is my demo bike? Would love to review it for the site… Wednesday, July 9th 2008: Meetings & Releases Had a meeting with the brazimoto guy over the weekend and we talked about his new hop-up parts. Needed to re-measure a few items and make sure everything fits the way it should. Talked about several bike build possibilities, but need to keep these details on the down-low. We are going to see some nice hop-ups from Brazi! http://www.brazimoto.com The new venom 1.8 scale bike should be available very soon now! Be sure to check out the rcgroups forum or venoms website for release time/date. The initial release will probably be more then venom has avalaible according to the buzz, so if you are going to get one you should consider pre-ordering now. For the price you really cannot go wrong! After the inital release, it maybe awhile before more bikes are available, while anyways? http://www.2wheelhobbies.com 2-WheelHobbies - Order your Venom Bike today! Saturday, August 30th 2008: Website Updates & General News I’m still updating several of the website pages with newer images and information. You will notice changes here and there, just too many little modifications to list. Updated the workshop blog , still don’t know what the hell a blog is,..? “GNO” or GotNitroOnline has a shipment of NF bikes and parts on the way, which should arrive shortly or has already. It seems the site has been updated to note the new bikes so please give them a visit and get yourself a Nitro bike! By the way, the website is looking very trick and I just love the little animations.

Status Update: Venom GPV-1 Due to unknown circumstances it seems the Venom bike release has been pushed back. The release date seems to be roughly 9/15/2008. You can still pre-order the bikes though Because the initial release will probably be limited, I have a feeling? Unless the earth explodes and we all float into outer space the bike will be available eventually.
