1. Aluminum Thunder Tiger Nitro Hub

2. Aluminum Thunder Tiger Nitro 5 Spoke Rims

Another "Customize it" add-on are these 5 spoke rims from Crazynutracing.

Designed Specifically for the Thunder Tiger Nitro bike. But, they do stock

rims for the NF bikes, including both electric and Gas.

3. Thunder Tiger Nitro USD Forks

Inverted forks, which are specifically made for the TTN bike.

Forks are also available for the SF501 Nitro bike, but these

are not Interchangeable Parts and cannot be swapped between bikes.

4.Installing the RIMS & HUB...

Installing the accessories is very straight forward. Be sure

to keep tabs on what you remove, then everything will go back on

without to much trouble. The biggest problem is installing the

rear shim, because you must hold the rear brake in place while the

shim is installed. I was able to install everything in about 30

minutes with the correct tools.

1. SF501 Nitro USD Forks

Inverted forks, which are specifically made for the NF bike.

Forks are also available for the TTN Nitro bike, but these

are not Interchangeable parts and cannot be swapped between bikes.

Installing your *NEW* USD Forks...

Install time: 15 minutes

Difficulty: EASY

Installing the USD forks is pretty straight forward, but for the beginner

I have included some pictures to show you the steps. First, Remove the

wheel nuts, both at the same time because as you remove one side the

other side will just spin. You will need two hex drivers for this, then remove

the steering arm, center C-Clip, both top fork screws and loosen the

two fork camps. The forks will just drop out and now just reverse the

process for installing your new forks. You will need to put a little lock

tight on the two top fork screws or they will fall out while running.

2. 8 Spoke Concaved GP Style RIMS... Added: 02/15/06

Super Trick, Sweet, this 8 Spoke GP style rim was just released from CNR.

They are designed for the Thunder Tiger (Electric & Gas), plus the NF style

(electric & Gas) bikes. The rear RIM is concaved for single side swingarms

and they come in various Colors, including Sun GOld, Trans Blue and Polished.

3. Integy Revo Shock Install 

Install time: 1 hour

Difficulty: Medium

Well, it sometimes comes down to modifications and using other companies

products for a specific performance enhancement. The Integy shock, which was

designed for a monster truck can work on your SF501 nitro bike, but tools are

required for this modification. The ball end of the shock must be drilled out

to fit the swingarm rod, then ground down for proper fit. The process is pretty

easy, but you will need a few tools to manage this task. The revo shock is a little

on the tall side, but you will need to decide what is the best ride height for you?

Because the Integy shock is a little long, it became necessary to figure out how to

compensate for this? I added two plastic pieces on each side of the frame. A simple, but

effective fix, until something more permanent can be found. I will probably cut some

frame extensions’ using carbon fiber.

4. Quick Release Drag-Wire Bar Mounts 

Install time: 3 hours

Difficulty: Medium-to-Difficult / Tools Required

Here is a new modification for both electric nf’s and nitro nf’s and

this can be a difficult install, which does require the frame to be removed.

What exactly is this modification used for? The current NF have plastic

bar mounts that hold the wires on both sides of the bike. This mod removes

the plastic and replaces them with quick release pressure fittings. To do

this modification you will need a 10/32 Tap; Fine Thread, Drill bit size

21, 2 3/32 Brass or steel rods, 4 quick release fittings 4mm, 2 5/32 OD tubing.

You will need to remove both sides of the frame to drill out the holes,

which will hold the new quick release fittings. The pictures below will better

expain this modification. They are rock solid and look really sharp.

If you do not have the tools or knowledge to install them yourself, for

aprox. 20 dollars I can install them for you. Since this modification was

added a few months ago, I have already installed aprox. 5 sets.

You can ship the bike or frame to me and turn around is pretty quick.
